Child Safety Standards
Zero-tolerance policy
Bobine has a strict zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse (CSAE). Any content of this nature, real or AI-generated, is strictly prohibited on the platform regardless of context.
Bobine is designed as a private photo-sharing service for adult family members. The platform is restricted to users 13 years and older. Accounts found violating this policy are immediately and permanently terminated, all related content is removed, and the incident is escalated to the relevant authorities as described below.
How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behavior on Bobine that you believe relates to child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately via any of the following channels:
1. Email the safety contact:
dimittrichoudhury.dc@gmail.comMark the subject line as [URGENT] Child safety report so it is escalated within hours. Include screenshots if available.
2. In-app reporting:
Open the Bobine app → tap Profile → tap Report a safety concern. This opens a pre-filled email to the safety contact with your account context attached.
3. Direct contact with authorities:
You can always report CSAM directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline or to your local law enforcement. We will fully cooperate with any official investigation.
How reports are handled
Reports received by the safety contact are reviewed within 24 hours. Standard response flow:
- The reported content is immediately hidden from the platform while under review.
- The reported account is temporarily suspended pending investigation.
- If the content is confirmed to constitute CSAM or to violate child safety standards, the account is permanently terminated, all associated content is permanently deleted, and the incident is reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline (United States), to PHAROS (France), and to any other applicable national reporting body in the user's jurisdiction.
- Evidence is preserved for as long as required by applicable law-enforcement and reporting-body retention rules, after which it is securely deleted.
Preventive measures
- Invite-only family groups. Bobine is not a public social network — content is shared only within private family groups joined by 6-digit invite code or magic invite link controlled by the group creator.
- Phone-verified identity. Every account requires verification via SMS one-time code (Firebase Phone Authentication), tying accounts to a real phone number and reducing anonymous abuse.
- Minimum age. Bobine's Terms restrict use to 13 years and older. The Play Store rating reflects this.
- No public discovery. No profile is searchable; no public feed; no DMs between strangers; users cannot find each other unless they share a family group.
- Account deletion on demand. Any user can request full account and content deletion at bobine-app.vercel.app/delete-account.
Compliance commitment
Bobine complies with all applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions it operates in, including:
- The U.S. Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology To Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act (PROTECT Our Children Act) and 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) articles relating to illegal content.
- French Loi Informatique et Libertés and the GDPR.
Confirmed CSAM is reported to the relevant national authorities (NCMEC in the U.S., PHAROS in France) and law enforcement, and associated user data is preserved and disclosed in accordance with valid legal process.
